Open Days

Our Maidstone campus is just 10 minutes from the centre of town and set in attractive parkland. Impressively, its history dates from 1867 when public art classes were first provided in Maidstone.

Since that time, it has been recognised as one of the leading providers of art education in terms of illustration, introduced in 1919, and in printmaking and graphic design, which can be traced back to 1931. In 1963, photography was introduced and in 1972 the first time-based art degree option was offered, gaining an international reputation for experimental work.
